Cocoa Walnut Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1.2 L milk
  • 75 g California Calrose rice
  • 600 ml water
  • 160 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 30 g starch
  • 22 g cocoa
  • For the top: 100 g California walnut

Preparation

  • Take the milk into the pot. Add the starch, boiled California Calrose rice, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla.
  • Place the pot on the stove and cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  • After it starts to boil, continue stirring on low heat for another 2–3 minutes.
  • Distribute into bowls. Let it cool at room temperature for 20–30 minutes, then rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Add California walnut on top when serving.
