Dairy-Free Vanilla Walnut Whipped Cream
Whipped Walnut Cream
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups California walnuts, divided
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1–2 teaspoons honey, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Purée 2 cups of walnuts with the water in a blender for about 2 minutes, until very light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of honey, vanilla extract, and salt, then blend for about 30 seconds.
- Add the second teaspoon of honey if a sweeter flavor is desired.
- For a thicker whipped cream consistency, blend in the remaining 1/2 cup of walnuts.
- Continue blending until the mixture is light and fluffy.
